Big Bang releases Lollipop 2 + CF!

362Share Last year Big Bang teamed up with LG Cyon to promote the sweet Lollipop phone. Now they return with Lollipop 2 as the full sequel track has been released!
The previous Lollipop campaign was a definite success for the boys and helped ease in their sister group 2NE1, who also benefited greatly from the advertisement. And even though it’s not another Big Bang – 2NE1 pair up, it’s still great to hear something new from the group.
2NE1 may not be here to add their feminine touch but Big Bang still keeps the energy alive with their cute outfits and vibrant colors. Former 1TYM leader Teddy produced the song and with the help of G-Dragon and T.O.P., they composed and wrote the song together.
So which version do you guys like better, last year’s version or the sequel? And who will be the new Lollipop Girl?

Did any of you wonder why there wasn't so much of a whisper as to who the mysterious "Lollipop girl "starring along side Big Bang would be?

Well, that's because there isn't a girl..yet! Turns out "Lollipop Girl" will be chosen from the public ! It was announced early this year that Big Bang would be starting a Lollipop Project 2 for phone company Cyon this February. This brings us to the exciting news that Cyon will be launching a public audition for the next “Lollipop Girl”, and this lucky girl will join big Bang in the promotions for the new Lollipop phone through a photo shoot.
The members of Big Bang have expressed their excitement for the audition, saying they are looking for someone who has a ‘unique style and personality, and additionally, has exceptional dancing and singing skills.’ Kind of sounds like a YG recruitment!
Applications will open on February 10th right up until Febraury 28th, through Cyon’s website: cyon.co.kr. The audition and selection process will be broadcasted on  M-Net this March.
I’m thinking the lucky girl who is finally chosen will be the great envy of her friends but unfortunately, the even greater jealously of VIPs who thought they had a sporting chance too. Let the audition rampage begin, and good luck to all girls who audition!

6Share The boys of Big Bang just wrapped up their Electric Love Tour 2010 in Japan and Thelma Aoyama blogged about her experiences with the boys.
She’s blogged about them in the past and as many of you already know, she collaborated with Taeyang (SOL) for her recent single Fall in Love.
Here’s a rough translation of what she posted on her blog:

BIGBANG ELECTRIC LOVE TOUR 2010
I joined the Big Bang Electric Love Tour 2010 as a special guest!
Me and Taeyang (SOL) sang “Fall in Love” together for the first time! We enjoyed it so much and thanks to all the fans of Big Bang for partying with us!
Some Behind the scenes information:
The Big Bang members are all so close with each other (love love). They treated me like a member of the Big Bang family! After the performance when I was taking a break, all of the Big Bang boys came to my room and thanked me, they even brought flowers and presents for me!
While I was opening the present, Seungri (VI) told me to open it slowly or you might die because you’re gonna be too happy… When I opened it and saw that it was an expensive Balenciaga pink clutch bag, I almost died because I was too happy!
The Big Bang members took great care of me for 3 days and I had a great time with wonderful experiences with the Big Bang members… I have to say their fans are the best!

After previously giving her the expensive Heartbeats (Lady Gaga) by Dr. Dre, the boys got her an expensive Balenciaga clutch bag! They’re spending the big bucks on these presents. Thanks to Bitten for the tip and check out some of the photos she uploaded on her blog below.

Seungri's strange accent
Seungri spoke in an Osaka dialect (the Kansai dialect of Japanese) with strange accent in this concert and it was cute. Suki ya nen means "I like". Nande ya nen means "Why is it?" His hyungs seem like they didn't know what he was saying.

Seungri : You must think of Kobe beef as you say Kobe, right? Suki ya nennnnn~~~~~~!!! (I really likeeeee (it)~~~~~!!!)
Hyungs : ??????
Seungri : Hyungs, repeat after me, se-no! (Ready- Go!)
Hyungs : Suki ya nennnnn!!!
Seungri: (Proud) I studied that~ Osaka of dialect.

But he made mistake. Osaka dialect is not Osaka of dialect, Seungri-ah.

Seungri : Akeshime.... eh?.....(tries to say "Happy New Year" in Japanese). Akemamini coopere Omedetou Gosaimasu~ (completed). Today is New Year holidays in Korea. Give me some chocolate (smiles).

Daesung-Seungri Moment
Before their medley, Daesung went backstage to change clothes; Seungri talked on stage alone. After that, Daesung came back:

Seungri : Ooh!.... when did you come out? (He didn't notice)
Daesung : ?????
Daesung : (Awkward) We are close friends.
VIPs : Eeeehhhh~~~??
Daesung : I wrote a message, "I can't live without you" to him.
Seungri's action was "I regret but I understand you, hyung."

Seungri : Kobe is number one that I like now.
Daesung : I don't like.
VIPs : ????
Daesung : Because I haven't eaten Kobe Beef yet; I don't like. But I'll like it more after today's concert (smiles).

The last moment of the concert
Taeyang took off his T-shirt and threw it to the audience. Daesung wore his scarf; he also threw it. TOP wore a big gold necklace, then he threw it and then stopped by himself.

TOP : (If I throw it), it will hurt. (laughs)

Seungri didn't throw anything. He came down the stage near the audience.

Seungri: Although (I'm) very busy, I will attentively study Japanese for the fans.
